There is still a lot to be done but it has a great potential.. Has nice graphics, but buggy and there are a lot of work to be done to make it a game. And controls(in combination how ship responds to controls) are garbage.. Well, I love the concept. Just nothing to do. Of course it is "Early Access" but I would think at least there would be something to do. I mostly just made ships and tested them. I have hopes for this one, although I have seen many games like this stall out.. great i worked out some issues with some devs and it works fine i would give this a 9 out of 10 would play again.. Sadly, this game is super glitchy, buggy, and has a poor look... It did not look like it did in the trailer, and sadly did not live up to the hype or expectations. Not Recommended.. OK so after leaving a bad review after not really playing the game at all, I felt bad and decided to give this game a shot and adjust the review accordingly.I should have left the negative review alone, here's my experience:Start a new game - alright cool I'm excited to actually try this.Loading - keep hearing explosions and it continually says I have diedLoaded in - more and more explosions and apparently I'm dying so much the right side of the screen is filling up with death messages - WTF is going on?!Try opening a pause menu or something to reload checkpoint or SOMETHING - there is none. There is no TAB, no ESC, no NOTHING (the keybinds are there, but because I'm in a constant state of dying, I can't access any of it...)After several minutes of this, I attempt to try a new game... You can only CTRL+ALT+DEL out of the game - seriously guys?!I verified game files and attempted to create a new profile.This game is broken, don't waste your time. Again - serves me right for buying games at 20 cents each!. An unfinished early access game which is currently lacking a single player campaign and large player base. The future looks bright for this game but in it's current state I can not recommend this game.Unless you are interested in bug testing this game I suggest not playing it for quite some time and giving it time to mature.I will edit this review as I note changes in gameplay as future updates go live.. An insteresting sand box 3rd person flight game. The ship and base custimation controls are a bit flustrating as there are very few shapes to extend the lenght of the ship over the width without layering massive amounts of componants and the instruction guide leaves alot to desire. The graphics and controls remind me of several 1990s space advanture games. The map seems to be fairly wide given the max speed of the ships but shallow compared to modern games. Once you learn the controls you can fly around and attack other ships and space baces. The game is obviously unfinished. There does not seem to be a goal other than create a ship and fly around among passive ships and distroy hostile ones. Tips: Place as many Lazer turrets on your ship as possible, as it does officer a significant advantave over hostile ships. Using all 3 space drives offers the ship all of the mobility features. Also the smaller the ship the easier it is to avoid enemy fire. If you can learn tactical fire and dont stop while shooting, than you can take out several hostile ships without taking damage. My first ship was a reduced cockpit with miniture drives and tones of lazer turrets. When done it was a little ball that shot endless fire and the enemies could not hit it. New and completely Redesigned Legends of Azulgar Enters Early Access + trailer: Hello guys. This has been quite a journey for us. After all this hard work we managed to make it into pre-alpha release on steam early access. Basically our dream game is coming to players :). Originally the game was released some time ago in 2016 a playable demo. We decided that the game looked bland and started to work on a totally new engine and game logic, we cut some features and added others that we believe were way more exciting. As such the few old reviews on steam dont really apply to the current version of the game. We believe that now we brought something immensely better. There have been many challenges ahead since we are a very small indie studio that is self-funded, and some guys in the team had to make some hard sacrifices and life decisions. We decided to take the longer path and bring you guys multiplayer in the early builds of the game, because we firmly believe that coop gaming and MP gaming is the right direction for LOA. The team decided to go for early access, because even though we have a very clear vision of the project, we still want to bring the community into the development of the game. Fast! - New Trailer + Survival news + updates: Hello guys, we just posted a new trailer on steam. It shows how you can create any ships really fast and how creative you can get while doing them. We had some real fun making those and shared a good few laughs while making the video. The video has been made while playing in creative mode. We will be adding much more creative possibilities in the future in the form of new building blocks and ship functionality. Any functional blocks that you guys would like are possible. Just say what you want and if we can implement it we will do it. :)Soon you can expect a major update to the survival portion of the game. You will see new enemies, base building, mining and dragging asteroids for resources with a ship hook. We will give you some more guidance what to do in survival and a real purpose to your base.
